We held no election on Holiday, the 7th,
but Liberals watched with interat results
throughout the State. The news of your
splendid victory over corruption on that day
was highly gratifying to hopeful men in
this vicinity. Your verdict of meaty-six
majority against radicalism where, hereto-
fore, that element had held high carnival at
each election in majoritioa ranging from one
hundred to two hundred, is glory enough
for one month. or until we can administer
the final death blow to hate and moor in
November. Two of our distinguished citi-
zens, Gen. Noble and Col. Dwight Norris.
must have been emphatic, and told truthful
tales about the party to which they former-
ly belonged. but which, on principle, they re
