A vcry interesting lecture was delivered in
the church at Green 3 Fnrms on the evening
of Tuesday. Nov 7th. by the Rev. Robert
Bayard Snowden. formerlv of Norwalk. but
now a resident of ){nntville. in this state.
The subject was “ The Sandwich Islnnds."
and the substance of the lecture wns the per-
soual experience of the Rev'd gentleman dur~
mg a recent residence of a year at the Islands.
The descriptions of scenery, vovnges be-
tween the islands. descent into the crater of
the immense active vexcnno on the Island of
