Sunday School Anniversary.
As we write the First Anniversary 0! the
Sunday School Teachers‘ Association ‘3 be-
ing celebrated. A finer day in every respect
couldnothave been desired. The rain of
thenkhtpreviouahadsettled thedustand

sun was temporarily veiled in clouds.
Wheeler & Wilson‘s band came on the
one o‘clock train from Bridgeport, and pro—
ceeding to the Methodist Episcopal Church
meal-ted the Sunday School, which was al-
readyinline.totbeBaptiat Tabernacle.
Here the Baptist Sunday School joined the
Wand they proceeded totheCon-
gregafionnl Church. The line being com-
pleted by the addition of this Sunday
School. the browsion {formed the most
beautiful and interesting spectacle ever
witneled in our city. The whole number
of scholars in line was six hundred and
forty-nine, by actual count; of which num.
her the Congregational School furnished two
hundred and eighty-six, the Methodist Epis-
copal two hundred and nineteen, and the
