Dr. Allcn 0. Ireland. state super-
visor of physical education in the
schools. addressed the monthly
meeting of the Holmes school Parent
Teacher association yesterday after-
noon. hold in the school building. A

usual attended the gathering.

Dr. Ireland chose as his subject the
health program in the schools. one
in which the association is greatly
interested. His talk was highly in-
structive and was followed by a sym-
posium in which there was general
discussion of the topic.

Only a few accepted the invitation
extended by Mrs. Douglas W. Mac-
Donald. association president. to all
the teachers in the Darien schools.

ing will be held the first Monday in

A program of entertainment is
