considerable difficulty in trying to
teach class ,while he 'has a serious
“cold. Mr. Green has suffered with
the cold for the past few days and
his students are hoping for a speedy
recovery. 4‘

Franklin Caposeila. halfback on
the football team. is now carrying
his arm in -a sling due to an injury
he received Monday afternoon at
practice. Frank carried the ball
and was tackled. He fell on his
' arm and injured it so badly that he
went to the office of Dr. Franklyn
Brown. Dr. Brown took him to
Stamford where an x-ray was taken
and it showed that the popular half-
back suffered a fracture of the arm.
His many friends hope that tho
‘ fracture will soon heal so that he
may once more don the uniform of
Green and White.

Diane Cummings won the Bedford
hopsc tennis championship yester-
day afternoon. defeating Ann Gatz-
weiler in the finals. taking two
straight sets. The score was 6—2.
6—1. Miss Gaizweilcr 'put up a
Mod light. but was no match for the
slushin attack of Miss Cummings.
Miss Cummings received asilvcriov-
lng cup for her efforts.
The Cummings family now boasts
of two champions. Park Cummings
won the Senior Y. M. C. A. chain-
thur llosenbluth in two sets. Cum-
mings was former captain of the
Harvard tennis team. Miss Cum-
mings has been coached by her
brother Park and plays on the same
style.
