Mrs. Charles Hyatt was chosen as
delegate of Our cisters' Rebekah
Lodge which met last night. to at-
tend the Itete Convention at Na-
tional Law Improvement to be held
at New Haven. October ii.
It is believed that Mrs. Peabody
or Washington. will he the principal
speaker ot this convention.
The lodge is also planning a card
party to be held later in October.
The date has not been set as yet.

A report at the Walker League
Convention. recently held at King-
cton N. Y.. was a feature or the
Young People's meeting oi the St.
Peter's Ivangelioal Lutheran church,
which took plus Tuesday evening
at the church. Will Schaeier was
delegate.
The report was quite extensive and
very interesting. Mr. Bchaeior re-
ported that the Walker League now
has an emollmou‘. or 1.600 societies
irom districts all over the country.
The next convention will be held at
Boston. next year. over the Ltbur
Dny season.
There was also a report from the
committee which met at Stamford.
with committees irom surrounding
towns to plan a field day tor the
young people belonging to this zone
which includes Greenwich. Stam-
ford. Westport. New Canaan. Nor-
walk and several other vicinlties.
September 19 has been set as the
date for this event which will take
place at the Miller Dairy Farm. in
New Canaan. All young people
irom the churches oi the Norwalks
are invited to attend.
The committee in charge oi the
arrangements for the field day in—

The evening commenced with

club rooms on Main street and held
