I would like to cell your attention
to an act of courtooy ,oxtondod to us
that we greatly appreciate. We were
playing the Palace theatre. South
Norwalk. Conn.. olodng there Satur-
day night and opening in Washing«
ton with a matinee on Sunday after-
nog It was rather inconvenient
for to make the Jump, as it
meant being up all night without
sleep in making connections and
getting our baggage through. .-
I explained our case to Mr. Thom-
as Lydon. tho passenger agent in
SonthNorwalk. showing him a letter
from the Keith-Albee Circuit notify-
ing as oi tho aunday opening. He
took tho matter up with Mr. Road in
New Haven and secured his consent
to flag the Washington Express for
us as it came through south Nor-
walk. He secured our Pullman ac-
commodations, reserved space in tho
baggage car for our baggage and the
result was that we landed in Wash-
ington at 1:80. Sunday morning with
a good night's sleep to our credit.
I consider thirsn act of courtesy
extended to tho theatrical profession.
It shows tho mark or respect thee is
growing throughout tho country and
