Bummer camps are blooming with
the warm weather.
The Bridgeport Girl Scout Coun-
city is opening a new camp this
year in Weston. near Co y Iowa
where scout captains ay take
tueir troops for the week-end or for
as many days as they wish during
ihe week. the longest stay allowed
being one week-
The camp will be equipped With
tents for twenty scouts and three of-
floors and will be in charge of a
director. Miss Bertha Staples will be
in charge during July and Miss
Helen Dc Lacy in August.
There will be an out'of-door stove
and a kitchen fly. and scouts will do
their own cooking. utensils being at
the csinp.
The cost to each scout will be
her proportionate share of the
food supply. arrangements being
made by the captain.

John Donahue, son of Mrs. Kathe-

The lad passed away at 4 o‘clock
