be given Friday night in the Pyra-
mid Mosque on State street. Bridge-
port for the St. Michael's Episcopal

a pleasant surprise at the church last
night when 25 members of the
Summorfield Methodist church of
New Haven attended the regular
services in a body as a greeting to
their former pastor. Rev, Mearl Cul-
ver.
They were accompanied by their
own pastor. Rev. ltoy M. Perry who
participated in the evening service.
Following the service the New lia-
ven friends spent an hour with
their former pastor and his wife at
tho parsonage.

The Junior Philaphea of the Nor-
walk M. E. church held a cake sale.
Saturday morning. at the Connecti-
cut Light and Power Co. The pro-
ceeds oi the sale are to be used for
the purchase of hymnals for the
Sunday school.
