That’s been a much mooted question in turfing circles ever since
the famous Bradley nag followed up Carlaris’ sterling southern
far western horse only to ftill away until at the mile lie wad
nearly three seconds slower. ’i‘ruc. Bubbling Over might have
come closer to Old Rosebud’s mark had he been pushed down
the stretch, but he wasn't—and didn’t, of course.
