Why do I believe in N orwalk?

N orwalk 18 a modern New England town, 1n Which the proverbial clean-
liness Of New England is evident. . '

It'.’ 18 both a residential and industrial city. There' 1s no place more desir- '
able for homes or more suitable for high class manufactories.

' 1 Shining shores and sparkling sea, sightly hills and verdant valleys, all I
these are part of NorWalk and its environs.

Thematerial and healthy growth of this city in the past few years has
been largely caused by natural and logical reasons. Both local and out~of~
town people seek to own their own homes. The enormous demand still con-
tinues along these lines because of proper encouragement.

N orwalk’s shore front and beautiful homes that are a vital asset to the
city have played an important part' 1n its progress.

. Nerwalk has beautiful churches, good schools, a well equipped hospital,
lar e public libraries, fine civic organizations, a responsive gavernment, well-
tramed fire and police departments. In fact, we are in a position to “sell” our

, 'city to people outside of it, without having to apologize 1n any way for any of
its departments.

To me, the future of our N orwalk points to broader and steadier strides
of activity in every line of business. Industrially, Norwalk ranks 111 h and
we should Witness within the next few years many new factory build gs in _
Norwalk giving employment to additional thousands of people.

N orwalkis a city of oppdrtunity and promise.
