soclutious are now demanding that
the so-cullcd "sojourn tax," levied
on visitors to watering places. cli-
matic resorts. spas and famous
tourist centers. be raised from a
maximum of i: francs to 3 francs
per day. to balance the lower pur-
chasing power oil the franc.

revenue derived from it is spent in
