NEW YORK. (AH—Marine po-
lice who overtook a motorboat oii.’
Norton's Point. Coney Island, yester-
day. found a machine gun and 500
rounds of ammunition aboard the
craft. Five men, all but one. of whom
gave New Jersey addresses, were ar»
rested.
Six marine police were cruising in
a patrol boat when they saw the.
motor boat moving slowly away from
them. .
They overtook it and the order to
halt was obeyed. The men aboard
the motor boat said they had been
hired by a man named Goldberg
whose address they did not know. to
test the engine and that they knew
nothing of the machine gun.
The prisoners. all of whom are
charged with disorderly conduct, de-
scribed themselves as Julius Magyar.
