Stratfield Hotel Roof

A reinforced root upon which cars
can park. is included in plant tor
the new garage to be built by own-
ers of the Strattield hotel. Bridge-
port. The plan w uld call for a
special ramp fro Chapel street to
the root in addition to the regular
map provided tor the second tloor
in plans tor a two story structure.
There is also a. plan for a. three
story «building and bids are in on all
three atlthe present time and a con-
tract for the work will be given
early in the week. Two apartment
houses at the rear of the hotel.
where the garage is to be erected,
will be torn down. The proposed
structure will have a 2:00 car capac
city and is made necessary as so
many transient guests at the hotel
are motorists. The need tor the new
garage was made more acute by the
tearing down of the Traveler's
