Editor, The Evening Sentinel:
Not being able to compare the present Norwalk with the Norwalk of
yester-year, I will have-to voice my opinion of Norwalk as it impresses me , ~-
after being here only six months.
I have travelled extensively for many years, and have concluded that of
all the cities and towns I have visited, there are few with the poésibilities of
expansion or with values as sound at d conservative or with people as friend-
ly and contented as there are here in the greater Norwalks.
I believe asking prices: for property here generally are low and that a
few years will prove this conclusively.
There is not much property on the market and when this is sold the
scarcity will push Norwalk values up in line with p r i c e s in Stamford and
other cities to-thewest.
There IS an opportunity to “invest“ in real estate in this city today that
will never occur again. The men with vision are taking advantage of this
situation. ,
I take this opportunity of saying to Norwalk: “I am more than pleased
to be here, and am sbrry I know as few people as I do, but I will pledge my
energy !and support to anything that will advance the city for the good of
its peop e '
