"The New England Council was

ference at Worcester last November

ing the efforts of existing agencies
in the New England statesi’or the
meter benefit of New England as

that in her climate and natural
beauties New England has an im-
portant contribution to the life of
America. and that the development
and use of our recreational resources,
constitute an industry in themselves.
It is likewise appreciated that in-
telligent development or these re-
sources may be the means of adding
to 'our permanent wealth and the
sale of New England gbcds. as well
as yielding an immediatecash re-
turn.
