THE HIDY G0 PEOPLE HAVE THEIR SAY. ‘ ‘
Things in Hidy Go Lend were
'getting worse instead or better. In-

"Oh, dear! I'm sorry." said poor
kind Mister Hemlock. "I beg your
pea-don. I'll untwist you again."
But Nick walked over and put
Jack-in~the-Bbx in his place by
pushing his head down and booking
the lid.
“These people need a bit of bass-
ing. sir," he said. ”You're too kind
to them. When they begin to act

Everybody agreed to that at once.
for indeed Calamity Jane hhd noth-
ing else to lose, but one leg. She
had no hair, no eyes. no arms. and
one leg only.
"And me." said Sailor Sam. "I
came to get my legs changed, and
here I stay until I do. Someone said
I hed senders and whatever they
