er playing baseball as they once did.
However. he tails to present any
statistics to prove such a. state-

Representatives trom five schools
in Norwslk have been invited to at-
tend a meeting at the Center Junior
High School next Monday aiternoon
at four o'clock at which time plans
will be made for the organization of
a basketball league. The contesting
teams will play for a loving cup to
be offered by THE EVENING SEN-
’l‘iNEL.
The iollowing schools huvu been
asked to join the league, Center Jun-
ior High. Franklin Junior High St.
Mary's Parochial. Roger Ludlow
Junior High and St. Joseph's Paro-
chial. No plans have been made yet.

At this meeting a schedule will be
drafted, floors assigned to teams. of-
ficials selected and numerous other
details settled. _

vor of the league and the principals
of the schools are anxious to see
such a plan worked out. Superin-
tendent. of Schools John Lund has
