The 40 and 8 is the playground of
the American Legion.
it is made up or members or tho
American. Legion who have been
members for a period of one your.
and who have done some service for
the good of the Lesion. '
it is not all play and no work in
the -10 and 8. This organization has
its program as well as the American
Legion. its main object in "service
to the American Legion."
The organization never loses sight
of the (act that the Legion comes
lirst. and does many things to boost
the Legion. It also has a. program
for the disabled and sick veterans
and Is always on the lookout for their
interests.
The Frank C. Godfrey Pout
American Legion. of this city. boasts
of the fact that they have 20 mom-
bers of the 40 and 8. which is more
than any Post in the county at the
present time. it is hoped to boost
this number at the next initiation to
be held in this city on March 13.
