The East Not-walk improvement
association will hold a general "get
mg.-tln-r" at Community hall during
the “130k following Christmas. at a
«into which has not as yet been de-
termined. lt is planned to bring
near a dozen shut-ins to the affair.
They will be brought to the hall in
cars loaned by members or the as-
sedation.

i in the hall and each member is ex-
pooled to brim: a present for it.
During the entertainment presents
will be distributed. Refreshments
will follow the entertainment. which
will be under the direction of Mrs.
Howard Gornam. chairman of the
entertainment committee.

factory in Philadelphia. Penn. A‘Tbe
engine is now at the branch quarters
of 23:: Hahn Company. in Bridgeport.
When completely finished it will-'be
delivire'l to the town. The apparel--
us will be kept in the \‘igllant Hose
( Company‘s Fire Hour... It is a hose
and oh1 mlml truck combined. , This
new truck will replace an old hose
~ and chemical engine. wnich was
built in 1907. The ilremvn have
been afraid to useihe old apparatus,
as they hme had smeml breakdowns
during the past year while answer-
ing alarms.

and ladder truck. tux. pumpvrs and
the new combination hose and chew.
