of the Assumption last Wednesday
night by Rev. Richard J. Carroll.
The attendants were Miss Dorothy
Bulkioy. sister of the bride and Jos-
eph Stanton. brother of the groom.
The young couple are well known
in this section. Mr. Stanton is a
state policeman attached to the
Westport barracks. His home town
is‘Lakeviilo. this state. l\irs. Stan-
ton graduated from Staples High
school in Westport in 1923. Site was
a student'hurse at the Norwaik lies-
pitnl Nurses’ Training school for
some time. Mr. and Mrs. Stanton
will reside in Westport for the pres-
ent.
The bride wore a costume of gray
brocadedchltfon velvet with a. silver
laco hat and carried white Chrysan-
themums. The bridesmaid was at-
tired in pencil blue flat crepe with
hat to match. She cart-rd yellow
Chrysanthemums.

dealing with personal influence.
“It‘is‘but few who realize the
power of influence. We speak or in-
fluence but -do.we really know what
it‘means? Do we recognize in; vast

encel, Why, nobody can influence
me.‘ But does he realize that a per-
son's life would be absolutely noth-
