United States' adherence to the
World Court. placed all or the
blame tor America's failure to Join
the court on the shoulders at the
so-called irreconcilables in the Uni-
tod States Senate. Presidents from
Roosevelt to Coolidge have favored
the World Court plan, he said. the

imously endorsed it. and the House *
of Representatives has expressed its
approval of the country's adherence
to the court.

the Kiwanis Club, reported at the
luncheon of the club yesterday that
the nominating committee had made
its report on the selection or officers
for the coming year. The following
members were nominated: Presi-
dent, George H. Bur-nos: vice-presi-
dent, Charles J. Mintz: treasurer.
Charles W. Gazer. and board of di-
rectors. C. Otis Fitch and Occar F.

Charles W. Gager won the attend-
ance prize at yesterday's meeting.
President Quinlan read a. notice
stating that Harold Burr of Red—
ding is the Norwalk representative
in the steer raising contest for bays.
Oscar Schultze has agreed to buy the
steer when It is full grown.
A woman. representing the World
Court committee of Bridgeport. in-
vited the members or the Kiwanis
Club to attend the lecture in Bridge-
port. on next Thursday evening. when
James G. McDonald. tormer head to
the Foreign Policy Association. will
speak. The mass meeting will begin
at eight o’clOck. A committee of
several prominent business men in
Bridgeport have charge or the at-
fair. As there is no such committee
in Nomik. the Bridgeport commit.
