ternal trade of the Philippines was
in quantity “greater than in uny
previous year in the history of the
islands. Measured in Value. how-
ever. the total was legs than in 1920
due to the higher prices of that
year. The total of imports and ex.
ports amounted to 8248.000.000.
which. as stated. was only exceeded
in 1920. when the total was 3800.
