The existing wage scales. which

fered to extend for one year, repre-
sent an average increase of 125 per
cent. over the scales in effect in
1014, with the cost of living. accord-
ing to the lastest figures of the
United States Department of Labor.

the spine and his condition is said
to be serious. Dunnmire was driv-
ing the machine towards New Lon-

Nelson's twin brother. who was
sitting next to him in the rear seat
of the machine. escaped with slight
injuries. State Policeman Bernard
Kermerson has given orders at the
