The twins certainly were surpris-
ed when the man in the picture
came to life and said that he was
Robinson Crusoe. and invited them
in to make. him a. visit.
They were still more surprised
when he whistled and his man Fri-
day came running. Also his dog,
two cats. and a goat appeared—end
a large green poll-parrot. which
flew up on Robinson Crusoe's shoul-
der and sat there.
"Won’t you sit down and listen to
my story?" said Robinson Crusoe.
“I have a. lot to tell as I was on this
desert lslsnd for a good many years
other I was shipwrecked. and a lot
