team Saturday in their game against
the Army here. Harding, quarter-
back on the Army team. received a
very bad knock on the head. The
shock so dazed him. that he had to
leave the game shortly after the sec-
ond quarter opened.
Yeomans 'was in the hospital and
Hall had to be taken out of the
game. There was no Army quarter-
back available except Harding.
Frank Wandle, the Army's train-
er. went to Captain Ellis 0! the Da-
vis and Elkins team and told him
the situation. Ellis gathered the Da-
vis and Elkins team together. told
them that Harding (whose home is
in Elkins. W. Va.) was coming batik.
