James Giszi. 67, of this city. was
found not guilty by n Superior court
jury last night or the murder of
Donato Guudiosi. June 8, on a lone-
ly country road bore.
Gizzi was ordered discharged by
Judge L. P. Waldo Marvin. The
Jury was in deliberation 11 and onb
half hours on this case. which, has
been before Superior court for a
month. .Glzzi was alleged to have
murdered Gaudiosi by shooting
from ambush. The defense claimed
self defense.

The unusual scenery and settings
and the accompaniment of Hawaiian
music are points which enrich "Tho
Half Caste."
The dramatic development dis-
poses of the comic Jnfluence and the
play closes with the native girl.
who proves to be the half sister of
the white man to whom it was plan-
ned that she should be married.
ending her life. with a knife thrust.
Surely. it will appear, there is no-
thing funny in this: and to be euro
there is not. but the problem of the
races can be met. if it is to be
met at all. by frank inspection and
this play should holp, be it over
so theatrical.
