he was born in St. Louis forty-um
years ago. that his real name was
Brown. and that he was sentenced
for thicrqry at the age of nineteen.
After serving various terms in Mid-
West prisons he landed at Auburn in
1916. convicted of forgery. There he
taught Spanish In the prison school.
