Three more young men were ar-

auto tire last evening.
They Were. Andrew Datellic. aged
21 years, of ii Meadow street; Frank
Belle. aged 20 years. of 38 Chest-
;nut street. and Thomas Hifuno. aged

The three men are accused of tak-
ing a tire from the machine of An- ‘
drew Bernhardt of 32 Lexington ave-
nue while it was parked in Marshdl
street in front of the Norwalk Lock
Company, last night. 1

raged in this city from two o'clock
Saturday until about three o‘clock
yesterday afternoon. ~
During that time one and sixti-

fell. Thisis a large amount of rain
to fall during one storm in this sec-
tion of the country and is a much
larger amount than fell in the vicin-
ity of Bridgeport. where the amount
only measured eighty-three hun-
