The McKendry grocery store on
Rownyton avenue, owned by Mr.
Charles it. McKendry, wasrobbcd
early Sunday morning. Evidently
the burglars entered through the
front door as the lock appeared to
have been Jimmled and the wood
splintered. The entire store had
been rifled and the libor and coun-
ters were covered with things pulled
from thd shelves.
This is the third attempt to rob
this grocery store and when assist-
ance was asked of tho Norwnlk po-
lice it was denied and Mr. McKen-
dry was obliged to dull the State
police at. Westport for help.
