i ' Why do I believe in Norwalk?
I believe in Norwalk because it is an ideal home and busi-
ness community well situated. It has good rail and harbor facili-
ties, and a spirit which assists enterprises of varied natures.
While its growth is not by leaps and bounds, it is progres-
sive, and supplies the assurance of a rock-bottom foundation. That
, 42 per cent. of the people here own their own homes, I consider a
worthy achievement.
That outside businesses and homes have tranSplanted their
. locations here, I deem a compliment to the integrity and prosper-
ity of this city.
Norwallr is essentially and has been in my 35 years’ experi-
