Dr. Blakeslee, accoidlng to police
records, has given the authorities
trouble at \arious times and when-
ever complaints concerning hlm haVe
been received it was a lule in the
police department for an officer
never to go alone. When a repoxl
was. received at the State Police bar-
racks at 2 o'clock Monday morning
that a fight was taking place at the
Blake-lee home a squad of troopers
wasdispatchcd to the place. The
doctor is said to have been inter-
lupted in an attack upon his wife.
The police arrested Blakeslcc on a
charge of drunkenness and held him
until Monday forenoon when he was
released on a bond. He was schcd.
uled to be tried in Town court this
morning. Since the trouble Sunday
night a special police guard has been
on duty at the Blakcslee estate day
and night.

$100,000. They were married on Sep-
tember 7. 1906. and have a son. 15
