for a. motor trip to Northneld.
where they will spend about ten
days at Marquand Hall to attend
the general summer conference of
Christian Workers. which takes
place every summer in Northfleld.
This is the fifty-second summer
that these summer conferences have
uken place.
During their visit the party will
take numerous motor trips in the
surrounding New England states,
visiting various points of interest.
All expect to stop at Smith college
and also Amherst and othcr promi-
nent northern colleges. While away
the Rowayton residents will be par-
ticularly fortunate in hearing a
number of noted speakers. among
them Harry Emerson Foadick. pas-
tor of the new Park Avenue Bap-
tist church. New York. and author
of “The Meaning of Prayer”; Dr.
John Hutton. prominent in both
England and America: Dr. James
Reed. and Dr. Halliday and many
