The weekly dance of the Nor-walk
Country club was held Saturday
night with about 200 In attendance.
Music was furnished by a local
popular orchestra and dinner was
served by the club's recently acquir-
ed steward. William Roodman. Next
Wednesday the Knights of Columbus
will meet at the club house. and on
the following day the grounds will
be given over to the Norwalk Rco
publican Women's associbtion.

bathing houses were sought by
scores of waiting bothers. The flow
of pleasure seekers to the beach is
indicative of 0 rapid growth of the
park this summer. The need for
lights. more bath-houses. and an-
other float is keenly felt with the
approach of a busy summer season.
‘The Life Guards put in one of the
busiest days of the season yester-
day. treating countless cuts and
bruises inflicted by sharp stones and
broken glass on the bench. Several
of the cuts were deep. requiring
more or less expert. attention. but
the Guards dressed them all with an
impressive skill whicir made their
services In constant demand.
