Dr. Marcus Backer. an interns, both

Bagna'no died seven minutes after
he was admitted to the hospital.
Others on Stand.
Manuel Bernstein, drug-gist. .. and
Theodore W. Crowley. salesman,
both of whom were nearby when
Bagnano 'was shot. told of seeing
Miss Maori with a pistol in her hand
standing over the body, of Bagnano
betore two men pinioned her arms.
Captain Henry P, Clark. of the
New Haven police force. testified to
seeing Bagnano's body put in the
car which took him to the hospital,
and said he took the name 1 the dri-i
ver so he could later examine him at
police headquarters.
Mrs. Frances L. Both, an attorney,
and her brother. Solomon Leven-
stein, both testified to hearing shots
and said they saw a girl standing
over a. man who was prone on the
pavement.

the slain man and driver of the car
in which Bagnano was taken to the
hospital. told of meeting his wife
and of rushing to the scene of the
shooting when she told him “a crazy
woman is shooting somebody up ".329
