While it is true that raw wool
prices have fallen approximately 15
per cent. since Jan 1. there,“ little
liklihood that prices for. finished
cloth will show similar reductions
until the sprint; lines of 1926 are of-
fared. This is due to the fact that for
once. the wool growers outguessed
the manufacturers. Many makers of
cloths jumped into the market last
fall and contracted for the still un-
grown clips of tho vlcickmasters at
extremely high prices. Certainly
more than 60 per cent. of the wool
produced was sold in this manner
before it pas clipped. While the
market levels now are lower. manu-
facturers nevertheless have to Ital-ac
lhesc high priced wools and use
mom. 1: they buy cheap wools to
