NE“? YORK. May 12.—Blase New
York at. last has been shocked to its
toundatlons. Every now and then
there creeps to the surface of the
big city ’a story about babies. and,
suddenly. there comes a. realization
of what is going on n the world af-
ter all.
There was a few years ago the
