BROOKSEDE SCHOOL.
There was very little going on at
Brookside school except the regular
classes and routine work during the
past week. Miss McDonald. the
achooanurse. visited the school dur-
ing the week. Miss McCarthy also
visited the school and went over the;
music for the music (festival with
the children. The pupils of Brook—
sideere making good progress with
their part. for the festival.
ROW‘AY’I‘OX SCHOOL.
Thursday afternoon, the last day
of school before Easter vacation. the
pupils of the first grade enjoyed an
Easter party. Each child had a tiny
Easter basket that he had made in
school and this basket was filled
with jelly bean eggs.‘ There were
also gay little paper rabbits to lend
color to the occasion.
The teachers of Rowayton school
were able to enjoy the holiday fee-
tlvities this year. Wednesday noon
they had an Easter luncheon at the
school. The favors and refresh-
ments bore out. the spirit. of Easter.
De Loss L'Hommedieu has taken
up his duties as the' new Janitor of
the Rowayton school.
