Editor, The Evening Sentinel,

I can say with all sincerity that I have a great deal of belief
in Norwalk and its future.

Having lived in many places in Central New England, West-
ern New York State, and in California, I have yet to live in a place
that immediately appealed to me as strongly as did’this section.

I have always been impressed with the opportunities of-
fered here by the peculiar combination of transportation facilities
from the manufacturing standpoint and the climatic conditions
from a general living standpoint. The climate has always struck
me as being exceptionally good— even better than in the nearby
sections of New York and New Haven.

We have a beautiful countryside, the waters of the Sound,
and excellent railroad facilities which put us within an hour and
ten minutes of New York. If our town was in California or Flor-
ida, it would be boomed to the skies. ‘

I have always felt, too, that some sort of progressive effort
should be made by the people her e to take advantage of the fine
conditions existing, and make this a great town.
