that she hopes is destined to become
one of the largest women's organi-
. zatlons in the United States.

old. it was organized at St. Louis.
Mo. as s tentstlve organization
headed by Mrs. Red. At the tirst
meeting in Los .inzeles she was
unanimously selected to heed the
body tor the next two yssrs. Mrs.
[ted had been president of the Texas
uumllsr: to the State Medical Asso-
ciation and held this ofllce at the
time the national organization was
formed. It was practically through
her efforts that the women became
, banded together.
Texas was one at three states hav-
in; auxiliaries st the time the na-
tional auxiliary was organized. With
s urge roster of vice presidents Mrs.
Red set out to form suxllisries in all
the states. and has now only a. few
states unorganized. She has traveled
ext-:nsltely in the past three months
and in early February left for a trip
sround the world in order to gain
data concerning women of other
countries.
Mrs. Red has been prominent in
club work in Houston tor many
yesrs and an ollloer in men! organi-
zations. l-ler outstanding work has
been with the Y. W. C. A. until she
accepted the his talk of ortsnlzing
the aisles in annual-lee. She hss an
interesting family of sons and
gdauxntsrs who have been educated
tin weu~known seboots and colleges
and are also prominent in their
home town. Doctor Red accompan-
ied his wife on the world tour.
