strictly. 100 male students joined in
a demonstration Thursday night.

pistols were fired from Livingston
Hall and various disorderly scenes
enacted on the campus.
Five students were Jailed on
charges of inciting to riot. Dr. Mac-
Kenzie being named as prosecutor.
Others participating in the demon-
stration were given a chance to sign
a. condemnation of the disorder or
quit school and leave Nashville.
