Guild. Trinity Episcopal church.
held a. meeting last night. and decid-
ed to present a play atter the Len-
ten season. The nature of this pre-
sentation has not yet been disclose
ed. Final plans will be made at a
later date. when the name of the
play and the names or those who
are to take part will be given out.
Following the regular business
meeting, the members of the Young
People's Musical and Dramatic Club
entertained. Impromptu songs and
dances were on the program. ite-
treshments of cocoa. and cake fol-
lowed. During the Lenten season.
the women or the Trinity Guild plan
to revert to the old fashioned "busy
cal and a Jar 0! Jam. Each woman
when the making of a patchwork
quilt was a. community afiair. Dur-
ing the six weeks of Lent. the mem-
bers will meet at the guild rooms
from time to time. and sew and tack
quilts. The receipts will go towards
the missionary funds. During the
Lenten season also. a “travelling
basket" will be started on the
rounds among the women. Into this
basket is placed three articles. per-
haps a can or fruit. 3 packet of cer-
lesi and a jar of jam. Each woman
the basket comes, takes
out one article. pays for it. and then
besides that. replaces the article she
took out with something else. The
last woman to get the basket buys
the three remaining articles. 115

sale of the articles will go into the
treasury of the Woman's Guild. this
