ing its twelfth consecutive quarterly divi dead, at the annual rate of eight per cent.
This fact becomes of direct interest to buyers of groceries when it is also
known that more than sixty per cent of the dividend checks were received by cus-
tomers of PIGGLY WIGGLY stores in No rwalk, Stamford and Greenwich. These
are the stores owned by Piggly Wiggly Fairfield, Inc, which is separate financially , ‘
from all other Piggly Wiggly organizations The earnings of Norwalk, Stamford
purposes, since the stores are all
owned in common by the same corporation. ‘

It is exceptional for customers of grocery stores to have the opportunity of {
