HE CitV of\ 'orwalk, past, present and fu-
ture, is always a topic of interest to any
thinking resident. The history of the Norwalk
of the past is a record of steady growth, in size,
in its business facilities, 1nd in its residential
possibilities.
LAIN old fashioned principles have made
it" the Norwalk of today. A town of good "
residences, and with a good type of resident.
Our factories and business and professional es-
ltablishments have kept the pace with the rest of
the city, with a growth in recent years that has
kept away f1 0111 the boom pea ks and the slump '
depressions.
WHAT we need today, however, is a realiza-
tion that Norwalk, as a community, is not
a finished product. For every thousand in pop-
ulation that we have added in the last decade,
We shall add five thousand during: the next. Our
factories, our stores, our financial establish-
ments will grow with the rest of the city.
Growth is as natural for the Norwalk of tomor-
row as it is to a healthy child. .
He knows
what is coming, and he prepares for it. He
keeps this vision before him in making all his
plans. He plans for the Norwalk of tomorrow,
a Norwalk that will come as surely as night fol—
lows morning.
HE thinking man realizes this.
