well. 20 year old English girl. deaf
mute on Wednesday.

convincing evidence that the airplane

“Great dives in airplanes should
help others as they are helping me."

"But now. in seven more rides. I
am sure that. all of my hearing will
be restored." Miss Caswell explained
"Now I can hear music, but
I can hear singing and
orchestra. playing. I heard the nu
tomobiles for the first time. It w:
wonderful. and when all hearing r1
turns I shall be completely happy."
At that. for one who has come out
into the real sound world for the
first time. Miss Caswefl is a very
composed. reserved person. She has
not suddenly become enthusiastic
over return of the sense which she
lost when measles suddenly cut it on'
while she was still 11 baby.
"It was all a pleasant experience.
We just went up in the airplane
nearly s. mile. Then we took I great
dive. They called it n all spin.
There. was s bans in my ears as we
dropped. After that I heard the mo-
tor and on the ground was able to
hear sounds for the first time.
“Probably others could do
some thing. I hope they can.
so pleasant to be able to hear."
