This fact is given wide publicity
in a. striking blg advertisement just
published by Liggett & Myers, which
company naturally takes a not un-
pardonsble pride in the new record
hung up by its star performer.
In searching for the reason for
such widespread demands, it is
pointed out that Chesterfield's swift
rise to popularity was no accident.
Smokers were ready tor a better
cigarette and in Chesterfield they
tound it. Taste convinced them
and as a result men are literally
turning by thousands from other
cigarettes to Chesterfield. T
