at Amusement park Saturday after-
noon. The girls of the playgrounds

quoit tournament which was recent-

will carry away a number of the

Rton Point today is the scene of
the re-union of the 28th and 17th
Regiments of the Connecticut Vol-
unteers. It is The scene of a. gath-
ering which in a few years will be
a thing or the past._ From Norwalk
and other surrounding cities, the
old G. A. R. veterans straggied a.
few at a time into the resort to hold
their annual camp fire around which
they talk over the stirring war
times. Compared to a few years
ago, there are only a handful of
surviving members of the two regi-
ments. Not more than two score
were able to make the trip to Baton
for the re-union. During the day.
the veterans will elect officers for
the coming year and will hear talks
from several members of the regi-
ment.
