four delegates. Fifth Ward. three
delegates: and choose in its own
manner the same number of alter-
nates as the number of delegates it
elects. or authorize each delegate to
appoint his own alternate.
The delegations from each ward
shall consist partly of men and part-
ly of women electors, and each per-
son representing a. ward. must be a
resident of the ward he or she repre-

A Convention of the Republican
delegates elected at said several
ward caucuses, will be held in the
Council Chamber. City Hall Building
in said Second Ward. on the 28th
day of August. 1924. at seven o'clock
p. m.. standard time. for the follow-

Republican State Convention to be'
held in Music Hall. New Haven. on
Tuesday and Wednesday September
9th and 10th. 1924. '
2.-—-To elect four delegates to the
next Republican Senatorial Conven-
tion for the 26th Senatorial District.
3.--To elect four delegates to the
next Republican Congressional Con—
vention.
4.-—To elect four delegates to the
next Republican Probate 'Conven-
tion. .
5.——To transact any other business
proper income before the Conven-
tion.
Each of said delegations shall
consist partly of men and partly of
women electors: and the convention
may elect alternates, or authorize
each delegate to appoint his or her
own alternate. ' .
