property in question was willed to

The -annual outing of the North
Side Republican club of the Bronx,
N. Y. is over. It was held yesterday
at Roton Point Park. It was a hap-
py crowd of 2.500 people that the
Sirius and another small vessel
brought to the resort. Politics were
forgotten. at least on the surface.
and the members of the club had a
regular time patroaislng the amuse-
ments and concessions. The dance
hall was open during the club‘s stay
with plenty of good music by the
New York City Marine Bond of 20
pieces. For those who did not care
to dance. the New York Letter car-
rier'- Band of 40 pieces played in.
the grove. After luncheon. a pro-
gram of sports for men. women and
children was run oil‘. in good shape
with prizes for winners. The party
left the park at. 6 o'clock. The‘re

Three rescues in two days—this is
the record made by the Volunteer
Life Saving Corps at Roton Point
over the week-end. On Saturday
afternoon. Life Saver Frank Kreutch
pulled two young women ashore.
He was assisted by others. It was
a good rescue as both of the Women
were quite a. distance from shore
when they went under. Sunday sf-
ternoon "Hop" Benedict saved a
young woman from drowning. Sub-
Jcct to heart attacks. the. girl fainted
and went under. "Hop" pulled her
ashore and administered first-aid. It
was some time, however. before the
girl came to. A large crowd col-
lected and policemen at the resort.
