exercises yesterday morning at 8:30
o‘clock in Hotel square and con-
tinued until noon. The exercises
consisted of memorial services in
front of the town's honor roll. 'in
Protestant snd Catholic cemeteries.
and concluded with patriotic ad-
march to tho cemeteries. where serv—
ices over the dead were conducted
by numbers of the American Legion
shal.,gsve the order for the columns
of khaki clad marchers to move for-
iled drum beats was accompanied by
the waving of a' veritable sea of
flags unfurled by school children
which vied with the flashes of bright
bdyonets glistering in the sun’s rays.
There was but one automobile in
tho. paradr~_ and in that rode Com-
rad Thomas Glynn. the lone survivor
of McDonough Pom. No. 63. of this
town. Last Memorial «lay (’fornrado
Glynn was accompanied by Comrade
Oscar Smith. 'ith whom he shared
memories of those days and deeds
on the hold of glory, but since then
Comrade Smith died.
It was upon Comrade Glynn that
all honor in the day's ceremonies

Comrade Glynn placed a huge wreath
at the foot of the town's honor roll.
